What is VeraWood 15mm Laminate?

VeraWood is a waterproof laminate floor built in two bonded parts. A 12mm high-density core carries the photographic decor layer, sealed under a melamine overlay reinforced with aluminum oxide. A 3mm acoustic pad is laminated to the underside at the factory. Together they make a 15mm plank in a 60" × 9" long-and-wide format. Use cases: residential & light commercial.

Why choose VeraWood?

It is waterproof, which ordinary laminate is not. Spills, damp mopping, and household humidity do not swell the plank, so VeraWood goes into kitchens, entryways, and laundry rooms where standard laminate is a callback waiting to happen.

The 3mm pad is already attached. There is no separate underlayment to roll out, tape, and pay for — one product, one step. The pad cannot shift, bunch, or gap under the floor the way loose underlayment does, and the install moves noticeably faster.

That pad is what produces the STC 72 / IIC 73 acoustic rating. Footsteps and the hollow click that thin laminate makes over a hard subfloor get absorbed instead of transmitted, which matters in condos, apartments, and second storeys with HOA acoustic requirements.

A 12mm core is a stiff core. The plank bridges small dips and bumps instead of flexing into them, so minor subfloor imperfections telegraph less and the joints stay tight.

The surface is finished for real traffic: antibacterial and scratch-resistant, with an aluminum oxide wear layer that holds up to entryways, hallways, pets, and rolling furniture.
